2018 Verne Hulce Award Recipient
I am writing you to thank you for the generous Verne Hulce Award of Excellence Scholarship.
I was thrilled to attend the MSET Annual Fall Conference on Oct 20, 2018 at Beaumont Health
System Troy. First thing in the morning I attended Dr. Al-Hakim’s talk about Frontal Lobe
Seizures. And then phased to Larry Head’s board prep breatkout. I cannot tell you how much I
appreciated learning from these two professionals. They had so much to offer and I will use the
information daily to help me perform quality EEG studies to guide the neurologists in giving
patients the best care for treatment.
I have been back to work for a few days and have been able to apply what I learned to my
every day work. I plan to continue to grow and learn so I can be give patients the best care
as a neurodiagnostic technician and have Verne Hulce Award of Excellence to thank in helping
be achieve these goals.
